Amélie Gérard
Founder, Transition Method
I’ve spent nearly two decades operating inside complex, high-pressure business environments across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. My career has been built inside global enterprises: navigating acquisitions, organisational restructures, leadership transitions, and market expansion across 17 countries.
I’ve relocated six times: Paris, Dublin, Barcelona, Toulouse, London, Dubai. Each move meant rebuilding: new teams, new political landscapes, new operating logic. I know what it means to lose your footing and have to find it again quickly, because I’ve done it repeatedly at the highest levels of enterprise business.
Early in my career at SAP, I managed the commercial transition of EMEA clients portfolio through two successive acquisitions: first under Business Objects, then under SAP. I saw firsthand how quickly a structural shift can expose leaders who are still operating from the previous reality. That pattern-capable people making decisions inside a situation that has already changed-became the foundation of everything I do now.
I built Transition Method because I kept seeing the same thing: leaders who were strong enough to handle the transition, but couldn’t see it clearly to move through it well. The failure was never competence. It was always clarity. I designed this practice to close that gap and to give leaders a structured way to see what has actually changed and make decisions from a position of real understanding, not inherited assumptions.
In 2025, I completed the Artificial Intelligence for Business programme at Oxford University because the transitions my clients face are increasingly shaped by forces that didn’t exist five years ago, and I intend to stay ahead of them.
